Electromobility – On the road to a new future

Electromobility - On the road to a new future 1

Electromobility is more than just a drive concept. It changes how we travel, how we perceive landscapes and how we take responsibility. On this page, I collect my journalistic stories, experiences and reports about electric mobility: from road trips and charging infrastructure to the question of how sustainable movement is changing the way we travel and report.

Electromobility as a journalistic approach

I don’t look at electromobility from the lab or the data sheet, but from the road.
My work combines technology with everyday life, innovation with reality and sustainability with real experiences.

For me, electromobility means:

  • be quieter on the road
  • travel more consciously
  • Rediscover regions
  • Not just demanding responsibility, but living it

Topics & focus

Electromobility on the road

How suitable is electric mobility really for everyday use – away from major cities?
On my road trips, I test electric vehicles in places where infrastructure is not a given: in rural regions, border areas and off the beaten track.

Charging, range & reality

There is often a long way between theory and practice.
I write about charging experiences, range reality and how electromobility works in real life – including challenges, not just gloss.

Electromobility & sustainability

Electromobility is not a panacea – but it is an important building block.
My texts put things into perspective: ecologically, socially and politically. Without dogma, without PR language, but with context.

People, ideas & innovation

There are people behind electromobility: Developers, visionaries, users.
I tell their stories and show how new ideas are changing the way we deal with mobility.

Why I write about electromobility

As a journalist, I have been dealing with mobility, sustainability and social change for years. For me,
electromobility is not a trend, but part of a larger transformation – comparable to the transition from an industrial to a knowledge society.

I test, travel, question and tell stories – always from a journalistic perspective, always with an eye on reality.
