Silent glamor on the red carpet: Porsche Sarajevo electrifies the Sarajevo Film Festival
At this year’s Sarajevo Film Festival, Porsche Sarajevo is once again causing a stir with an all-electric festival fleet. Film meets electromobility and shows how sustainability and glamor go together perfectly. A story of how cinema and modern mobility are taking responsibility for the future together.
The evening sun bathes Sarajevo in warm gold. People crowd in front of the National Theater, cameras click, voices merge into an excited hum. Suddenly it becomes quiet – not because the crowd has fallen silent, but because a Porsche Taycan glides silently onto the red carpet. Doors open, stars get out and the audience cheers. No engine noise, just the gentle whisper of electric power.

This scene is emblematic of the new spirit of the Sarajevo Film Festival. Thanks to Porsche Sarajevo, this year’s festival fleet is also completely electric– a strong signal for sustainable mobility in the film industry.
Porsche Sarajevo brings the electric revolution
Last year, Porsche Sarajevo brought a breath of fresh air – or rather: fresh electricity – to the streets of the festival. And the vision is still a reality: 14 fully electric vehicles transport guests, teams and international stars through Sarajevo emission-free.
This makes the Sarajevo Film Festival one of the greenest cultural events in South-East Europe and positions Porsche Sarajevo as a pioneer of electromobility.

The festival fleet: an ensemble of the future
The electric fleet reads like the perfect casting for a blockbuster:
- Volkswagen ID.3, ID.4 and ID.5 – elegant all-rounders for urban scenes.
- Audi Q4 e-tron – modern look, futuristic technology.
- Porsche Taycan – the star on the red carpet, pure performance.
- Cupra Tavascan – sporty and young.
- Škoda Enyaq and Elroq – flexible and suitable for everyday use.
This diversity shows that electromobility has long been more than just a trend – it is the present and future of urban mobility.

GREEN Short Movie Award: Stories for a better world
Back in July, I was able to experience how powerfully film and electromobility can be combined. At the International Silver Film Festival I was with the new Škoda Elroq on the road with the very first DYON Boot Camp in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As a jury member, we were honored to receive the GREEN Short Movie Award an award for films that deal with topics such as sustainability, climate protection and a better future.

This experience has shown that film festivals and electric cars form a perfect symbiosis. They create awareness and show that cultural highlights and environmentally friendly mobility can – and indeed must – go hand in hand.

Sarajevo’s vision: The Zero Pollution Festival
The Sarajevo Film Festival is pursuing the goal of gradually developing into a “zero pollution” event. In addition to the electric festival fleet, CO₂ emissions are continuously measured and reduced – an important step for the event’s ecological footprint.
Porsche Sarajevo is not only a sponsor, but also a committed partner. “With our electric fleet, we are not only getting guests from A to B, but also sending a clear message: the future of mobility is electric,” emphasizes Alex VasziCEO of Porsche Sarajevo BH.
